Theater of the Absurd:
-extravagant humor masks meaninglessness being portrayed
-anti-heroes replace the common heroes
-people are seen as bewildered in a incomprehensible world
Hamlet Films:
-we watched three different versions of Hamlet
-the BBC film took a traditional stance with a minimalist approach to the set and wardrobe choices
-the Olivier decided to show Hamlet as gay
-the Branaugh version showed Hamlet as angry and insane
